In which I muse that if I am going to be putting together a post, doing it the same month that I take the pictures would be INCREDIBLY helpful, ahem.
This is definitely one of Alfgar’s favorite places in the Valley– and it’s a true pub, because all of the inhabitants pop in during the evening hours to eat and drink and chat. The AI packages in this mod are fantastic.

Alfgar never did get anywhere with Miram, poor fellow. He trimmed his hair and beard and everything. He says that is all for now– but maybe someday he will have time to go back for that big battle at the end!

Yeah, keeping Skyrim stable is a bit of a chore, especially since you, as you say, like to add mods and then rip them out willy-nilly 😀 That was my problem, too. “But”, I said to myself, “I will conquer you, computer! You will do as I say, and you will do it smoothly!” Umm, yeah, that worked out real well. :\
Your game looks really beautiful, though! So while it’s working, at least you have something really nice to look at 😀
Well, this was (so I thought) a stable play profile, but my combat mods started causing trouble and so I had to rip them out of my patches and start over.
It wasn’t even my screenshot profile– but Falkreath is always pretty and this castle is gorgeous, so it worked out fine.
I get the feeling Alfgar will be setting the poor unsuspecting Wilaar up with Miram before exiting stage left.
